HCT Device Test Category for Volume Filters

Hello,

We have a snapshot driver which is implemented as volume level filter
driver. We look forward to get the driver WHQL logo certified. I would
appreciate if someone can throw some light on which class of Hardware
Compatibility Test-cases are applicable to volume filter type of drivers. We
don’t see any mention of special category for Volume class or filter drivers.

Your help is highly appreciated.

I don't believe there is a category for filters other than anti-virus file
system filters. That being said, I would run the all of the storage
categories of tests to exercise things, with driver verifier on for the
driver.
